Integrative Equine Therapies

  • Consultations are best for complicated cases to determine if bodywork is the best course of action. I may ask to watch you under saddle at this time. If I feel veterinary care is needed before I can start I will let you know. There’s a $50 fee for consultations.

  • Please allow approximately 90 minutes for the first session. During this session, we will go over your horse's health history, take static photos, and perform some assessments. I will introduce my touch to see how your horse responds. Then, we will discuss your goals and decide on a treatment plan. If I don't feel that your horse is ready for a full session, you will only be charged my consultation fee. A guardian or someone qualified to care for your horse must be present for the first session. The fee for the first session is $130.

  • During bodywork sessions, your horse may receive traditional sports massage, craniosacral work, myofascial work, or a combination of all these modalities. I may also implement the use of tuning forks, signing bowls, or surefoot pads when necessary. My technique is based on working with, not on your horse. I respond to the images they may show me, I observe their subtle or not-so-subtle body language, and I follow their lead. Sessions typically last 60 minutes. After each session, you will receive a write-up with a synopsis and any further recommendations via text. Follow-up sessions fee is $110

  • If you're recovering from an acute or chronic injury, or simply looking to feel more balanced in your body, I can help. As someone who understands the unique demands placed on equine athletes, both physical and mental/emotional. I have developed a technique that addresses the smaller stabilizing muscle groups needed for riders while also incorporating somatic modalities to address the mental and emotional aspects of competition. After sessions, I provide exercises and stretches catered to your specific needs. The cost of these sessions ranges between $180- $250, depending on the location and duration.

  • Please reach out to me for more information about how I conduct this. My fee is $130

I encourage guardians to be present, however it is not necessary for follow-up sessions. Please consult with your veterinarian if you have any concerns before their session. Bodywork should never be used as a replacement for veterinary care.
